Born in 1965 in Montpellier (France)
Plays drums in a number of local rock bands
Studies percussion/drums under Alain Joule and Barre Philipps as well as jazz at the Marseille Conservatory
From 1984 – starts playing and recording with a number of international artists and groups from the world of theatre and music such as Arild Andersen, Terje Rypdal, Eivin Aarset, Arve Enriksen, Tore Brunborg, Kirsten Brattenberg, Bendik Hofseth, Elise Caron, Michel Godard, Michel Portal, Nguyên Lê, Renaud Garcia Fons, Franck Tortiller, Markus Stockhausen, Orchestre National de Jazz, Vienna Art Orchestra
Because of his involvement in many different kinds of art projects Héral has become an increasingly creative and flexible artist, which in turn has made him a highly sought after musician
