Biography
Rabih Lahoud (born in 1982 in Lebanon) began with 9 years his musical education in Byblos, north of Beirut. With 19 he decided to come to Germany to study music.
In an improvisation course with Markus Stockhausen, Rabih Lahoud discovered the power of the voice and increasingly developed a great passion for a variety of vocal and interpretive styles. His desire to share this passion with young people in particular, brought him to the HMT in Rostock, where he is now focusing on vocal pedagogy (Pop-/World-Music).
Besides his work as a singer, conductor and composer, he worked on several projects with the Youth, such as "sou.l.y." and "Children of our time". As a teacher and artist he wants to create places where people are able to discover their voice.
