Ensemble Calace
Ensemble Calace is an Israeli based ensemble for Neapolitan instrumental and vocal music. It was founded in 2009 and named after Raffaele Calace who was one of the strongest influences on the Neapolitan Mandolin, as a composer, player and instrument maker.
The group has performed in various festivals venues including the Bat Yam international street theatre festival and was invited to play at “Youth in the Center” concert series with live broadcast for the Israeli radio. In 2010 the ensemble has won a scholarship from the "Tzfunot Tarbut" non-profit organization.
