Alon Sariel has based himself as one of the leading mandolin players on stages around the world. He has played solo with numerous orchestras, among them, the Jerusalem Radio Orchestra, the Haifa Symphony, Imaestri London, Israeli Chamber Orchestra, the Israeli Sinfonietta, London International Orchestra, Ashdod Chamber Orchestra and Israeli Classica Hadera.
As mandolin soloist, he has won numerous competitions, among them, the Calace Competition in Italy 2007, the European Mandolin Award in Greece 2007, the Jerusalem Academy competition of String Instruments 2006, the Jerusalem Academy Chamber Music Competition 2006 and 2007, the Bloch Competition in London 2010, the Israeli Music Competition in London 20010, the Sarni Competitions 2000 and 2002, the Audience Prize at the Aviv Competition 2009 among others.
